Daytime Buffalo: Schofield Care programs
Schofield Care President & CEO Christopher Koenig joined Daytime Buffalo on August 31 to talk about the care programs and services we offer.
Schofield Care is a not-for-profit organization that has been serving the Western New York area since 1910. Today, Schofield Care affiliates provide a wide variety of high-quality health care services for seniors at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center and through community-based health care programs.
Skilled nursing, long-term care and rehabilitation services are provided at Schofield Residence.
Schofield Care’s award-winning Adult Day Health Care program is designed to benefit individuals affected by chronic illnesses and conditions such as strokes, MS, Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injuries and others. Services provided include physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as nursing care and health care monitoring.
Schofield’s certified Home Health Care services can include nursing care, physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapy, as well as services for traumatic brain injuries.
"The staff is really everything, and I think it's really important when people are looking towards care that they need, whether it is, you know, long-term care or otherwise, you should really visit," CEO Christopher Koenig told Daytime Buffalo's Chelsea Lovell.
