Rehabilitation Awareness Week

Schofield Care is celebrating Rehab Services Week! We’re proud to be part of a profession that helps people move forward and regain independence.

National Rehabilitation Awareness Week is observed from September 14 to 20 this year, recognizing the benefits of rehabilitation and the successes of people who have received treatment through all forms of rehabilitation. The national theme for 2026 is “Building Futures Through Rehabilitation.”

Schofield Care offers short term rehab for seniors. Whether someone is recovering from a significant illness or surgery, we have the facilities and professionals to help them recover fully and comfortably.

We recognize the dedication of professionals who work together to help our patients and residents reach their goals. This includes the physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, psychologists, dietitians, support staff, and countless others who make a difference every day.

Our short-term rehab services include:

  • Orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation to recover mental and/or physical functioning following illness, injury or surgery.
  • Post-surgical care including intravenous medication (I.V.s), wound care, oxygen, and nutritional support.
  • Care for complex medical conditions like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, Parkinson’s disease, and others.
