What Does a CNA Do?

Certified Nursing Assistants work as essential members of the healthcare team, providing direct care and daily support to residents and patients.

CNA responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Helping residents with mobility and transfers
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs
  • Assisting with meals and hydration
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Observing and reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Supporting infection control and safety protocols

CNAs play a critical role in maintaining resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Our Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) includes:

  • Paid Training Program
  • New York State–approved curriculum
  • Classroom instruction

  • Supervised clinical experience
  • State competency exam preparation

Students receive hands-on training designed to prepare them for immediate employment upon certification. No prior healthcare experience required.
