Schofield Care’s Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Program prepares individuals to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes and community settings. HHA certification opens the door to stable employment, flexible schedules, and career advancement in healthcare.
What Does a Home Health Aide Do?
Home Health Aides provide personal care and limited health-related services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitoring vital signs
- Supporting mobility and transfer
- Assisting with meals and light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Observing and reporting changes in patient condition
HHAs play a vital role in helping individuals remain safely at home.
Program Details
Our HHA Training Program includes:
- Paid Training
- New York State–approved curriculum
- Classroom instruction
- Skills lab training
- Supervised practical experience
No prior healthcare experience required.
